  • DVD material for bulletin broadcast on a date chosen by you
  • DVD material for bulletin broadcast on the Compulsory date 

All News and Current Affairs, General Television and Documentary DVDs should be clearly labelled with the following details:

  • Entry Number
  • Entry Name
  • Category

Feature Film Categories:
The feature film categories are judged by 4 different panels.  Each panel contains up to 5 judges.

Therefore the number of copies required for each film is directly related to the number of judges in each panel, and the number of categories the film is submitted into.

If your Feature film is being submitted into any one category please provide 5 copies.

If your film is submitted into numerous categories that are being judged by different panels then please provide the number of copies required for each group.
For example:

If a film is being submitted into 42 - Best Feature Film and 50 - Best Cinematography in a Feature Film = 5 copies in total are required

If a film is being submitted into 42 - Best Feature Film, 50 - Best Cinematography in a Feature Film and 52 - Best Original Music in a Feature Film = 10 copies in total are required

If a film is being submitted into 42 - Best Feature Film, 50 - Best Cinematography in a Feature Film, 45 - Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film, 52 - Best Original Music in a Feature Film and 56 - Best Make-Up Design in a Feature Film = 20 copies in total are required

The maximum number of copies required for each feature film will be 20

 

In the case of Feature Film and Short Film please label as follows:

  • Entry Number
  • Entry Name

Each feature film entry must be accompanied by five copies of the writer's final draft (screen play categories will be judged on the writer's final draft plus the film).  This must also be provided if screen play categories are entered - please note the digital feature scripts are also accepted. These must be submitted by the close-of-entry date.
